Jesse J. Hernandez is a Senior Program Manager with County of Ventura, Human Services Agency. Jesse has demonstrated a team-focused and collaborative approach in working within the agency and externally with the Community College District on behalf of CalWORKs clients; teaming with the Workforce Development Board and the State EDD office to recruit and employ candidates for local employers; and building partnerships with the other agencies and a variety of community based organizations to maximize the amount of resources available to clients.

Jesse earned a Bachelor’s of Science from Cal State Channel Islands and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cal State Northridge. Jesse has two adult children and three grandchildren and believes we can do more to support our children in school to prepare them for the workforce.
