Celia Howen
Celia has a passion for creating safe spaces in which her clients can make well-informed decisions. Equipping others with increased self-understanding energizes her. She has spent 20 years empowering college students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership by providing professional development coaching, general workplace skills, work related values and industry specific internship and job search support. Celia’s had a leadership role in directing a College Career Center’s staff, resources, and partnerships across campus. She was instrumental in leading the development and implementation of strategic departmental vision and long-term goals. Besides her first love of counseling and teaching students, she had the privilege of building on existing partnerships with academic departments to foster career exploration components in the curriculum. Today Celia is practicing as a Personal and Professional Development Consultant working with individual clients as well as providing team-building workshops for churches, non-profit as well as for profit companies. Celia holds an M.Ed in Higher Education and College Counseling.
