Maeda Palius works with businesses ranging from startups to larger companies with sales in excess of $50,000,000. She assists her clients with business profitability consulting, financial forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning engagements. Clients’ industries include service, retail, construction, restaurant, import, Internet as well as real estate, and represent many types of business entities from “C” and “S” corporations to partnerships to LLC’s and LLP’s. Maeda is also a certified valuation analyst. Maeda has prepared valuations for many types of businesses for gift/estate returns, mergers/acquisitions and marital litigations. Maeda earned her BA in 1972 from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. She qualified for her California CPA license in 1979.

She is the majority owner of Palius, O’Kelley and Janzen, CPAs Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA. Maeda Palius belongs to the AICPA, and the Principia Consulting Network. She serves on the California Coast RDC audit committee, treasurer of the Crescend Mental Wellness organization and on the board of Get Focused, Stay Focused. She is past president of the NAWBO Santa Barbara chapter, as well as past president of Women’s Economic Ventures in Santa Barbara. In her spare time Maeda enjoys traveling, gardening and playing with her French bulldog, Sophie.
