Linda Schwartz
Board Member

Linda received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and received a Masters in Administration/Supervision from Cal State Northridge. She taught grades 2-7 and was a consultant for gifted programs in Torrance and Goleta Union School Districts. She started a company, The Learning Works, and published educational activity books for teachers for twenty-five years. After selling her company, she started Educational Consulting Works, whose purpose is to help small businesses bring their products and services to the public. Linda currently has a store called Pizzazz Learning on Teachers Pay Teachers where she has written more than four hundred activity units for teachers. She also develops digital curriculum for Boom Learning, which offers interactive lessons for students. She has been involved with the Adult Literacy Program in Santa Barbara, has served on the board of Life Chronicles, and was a mentor to an at-risk student for eight years under the auspices of the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
